Travel & Accommodations
Flights
If flying, guests should plan to arrive at:
San Diego International Airport (SAN) || Harbor Island Dr, San Diego, CA 92101
The airport is roughly a 10–15 minute drive from downtown San Diego and Balboa Park, where the wedding will be held.
Where to Stay
There’s no official room block, so you’re welcome to stay anywhere that fits your budget and travel plans. To make things easier, we’ve put together a few suggestions:
The Bride + Groom:
Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego
We’ll be staying here the night of the wedding! There is no room block or discount code, but if you’d like to be close by, this is a great home base.

Other nearby hotel options:
There are many hotels within a short drive of the San Diego Natural History Museum! A few areas to look at:
Gaslamp Quarter / Downtown – Happening area with restaurants, bars, and nightlife within walking distance. Note: We do not recommend lodging east of Seventh Avenue.
- Andaz San Diego by Hyatt
- The Westin San Diego | Gaslamp Quarter
Little Italy / Embarcadero – A bit quieter but still central, with tons of great food and bars.
- Hotel Republic San Diego | An Autograph Collection
- The Westin San Diego | Bayview
- Hilton Garden Inn San Diego | Downtown / Bayside
La Jolla – While beautiful, La Jolla is farther from our Wedding Weekend Activities and is not recommended, though you are more than welcome to visit or stay there!

Airbnbs & Vacation Rentals
If you’re traveling with a group or prefer more space, there are plenty of Airbnbs and vacation rentals in the surrounding neighborhood with cute cafes and bars: North Park, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Mission Bay
